Unbox and Position Your Printer

Remove all protective materials and packaging from the printer. Place it on a flat, stable surface near your WiFi router to ensure a strong wireless connection during setup.

Install HP 67 or 67XL Cartridges

Open the cartridge access area and insert the black and color cartridges. Rotate each cartridge so the taller end aligns with the slot, then click into place until secure. Ensure the carriage moves freely and no jams are present.

Connect to WiFi Network

Press the wireless button on the printer to initiate connection mode. Use the HP Smart app or printer control panel to select your WiFi network and enter your password. Note: The USB port has a label encouraging network setup, but USB printing is available if needed.

Download HP Smart App

Install the HP Smart application on your computer or mobile device to manage printing, scanning, and maintenance tasks remotely. The app provides access to cartridge status, troubleshooting guides, and cloud printing features.
