For wireless, confirm the connection is working. Check that the printer is not paused or offline in your computer's device settings. To prevent future jams, avoid overfilling the input tray and ensure paper edges are not bent or torn.
Low Ink or Cartridge Problems (Blinking Ink Alert Light)expand_more
Check the Ink Level icons on the control panel to see which cartridge is low. Open the cartridge access door and verify both cartridges are properly installed and the protective plastic tape has been removed. If tape remains, remove it immediately. If the error persists, remove the cartridges and clean the electrical contacts with a dry, lint-free cloth, then reinstall. For low ink warnings, consider having replacement HP 65 or HP 65XL cartridges available. You only need to replace cartridges when print quality becomes unacceptable.
Poor Print Quality or Faded Colorsexpand_more
Verify you are using original HP cartridges and check that enough ink remains. Load high-quality HP paper with the ColorLok standard for best results. In the printer software, select the appropriate paper type and print quality setting. Align the cartridges by opening the HP printer software, clicking on Maintain Your Printer, and selecting Align Cartridges. If quality remains poor, print a diagnostic page to check for streaks or missing colors. If streaks appear, clean the cartridges using the printer software maintenance menu.
