Product Setup

Unpack and Position Printer

Remove all packaging materials and place the printer on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet. Ensure adequate ventilation around the printer for proper cooling during operation.

Install Ink Cartridges

Open the cartridge access door and insert the HP 65 black and HP 65 tri-color cartridges into their designated slots. Remove the plastic tape from each cartridge before installation and ensure they click into place securely.

Load Paper and Connect Power

Insert plain white paper into the input tray with the print side facing up, then adjust the paper-width guide to fit snugly against the paper. Connect the power cable to the printer and plug it into an outlet.

Install Software and Configure Settings

Install the HP printer software on your computer from the included CD or download it from hp.com. Run the setup wizard to configure wireless connectivity, default paper size, and other preferences for your specific needs.

Wireless Network Connection

After clearing, press the Resume button to continue printing.
