Product Setup

Unbox and Power On

Remove the HP DeskJet 1055 from its packaging and place it on a flat, stable surface. Connect the power cord and press the power button to turn the printer on. Wait for the printer to complete its initialization sequence before proceeding.

Install the Ink Cartridges

Open the cartridge door and wait for the print carriage to move to the center. Close the cartridge door when both cartridges are installed.

Load Paper and Align Cartridges

Load letter or A4 plain white paper into the input tray, ensuring the edges are flat and the paper-width guide fits snugly. The printer will prompt you to align the cartridges after a new cartridge is installed — follow the on-screen instructions and press Start Copy Black to complete alignment.

Connect via USB and Install Software
