Unpack and Position Printer

Remove the HP DeskJet 3515 from packaging and place it on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device for proper cooling and paper feeding.

Install HP 65 or 65XL Cartridges

Open the cartridge access door and wait for the print carriage to move to the center. Insert the black and color cartridges by sliding them into their slots until they click into place, then close the door.

Load Paper and Align Cartridges

Load letter or A4 plain white paper into the input tray. Access the Printer Toolbox via Print & Scan > Maintain Your Printer, then select Align Ink Cartridges. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.
