If your printer shows a wireless alert or is disconnected from WiFi, first ensure your WiFi is turned on in your computer settings. Verify the printer is within range of your WiFi signal and not too far from the router. If using an Ethernet cable during setup, disconnect it temporarily to complete WiFi configuration. Check that you have entered the correct WiFi password and that your network services are running properly to help the software locate your printer.

The E0 error indicates a problem with your ink cartridge. Check the HP software on your computer for detailed replacement instructions and error codes. Remove the cartridge and verify it is an authentic HP 65 or HP 65XL cartridge. Clean the cartridge contacts with a lint-free cloth and reinsert firmly until it locks. If the error persists, replace the cartridge with a new genuine HP cartridge.

The E3 error means the print carriage is jammed or obstructed. Open the cartridge access area immediately and carefully remove any paper fragments, ink smudges, or debris blocking the carriage path. Ensure no cartridges or objects are loose inside the printer. Gently move the carriage by hand if needed to clear the jam, then close the access area and power cycle the printer.

Low ink indicators on the control panel show when cartridges are running low. You can continue printing with low ink, but print quality may degrade. Order replacement HP 65 or HP 65XL cartridges before running completely empty to avoid damage to the print head. Keep genuine HP cartridges on hand for uninterrupted printing.

When using a VPN or remote work network, consider your location and the security of the WiFi connection before printing sensitive documents. Ensure your printer firmware is up to date and your network password is strong. If printing over VPN fails, verify that your VPN software allows printer discovery and that your printer IP address is correctly configured in your network settings.
